A 10-year-old girl died after she lost consciousness while riding a roller coaster at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, California last week.
Reuters reported that Jasmine Martinez was found unconscious but still breathing after riding the Revolution roller coaster Friday around 4:45 p.m. local time. She was airlifted to Northridge Hospital Medical Center and later transferred to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where she died on Saturday.
CNN noted that the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office performed an autopsy on Martinez and said Tuesday that she died of natural causes, not from anything related to the coaster.
"There is no evidence to suggest that this was in any way ride related," Six Flags Magic Mountain said in a statement. "We do not know if there was a pre-existing condition."
Park officials also expressed their condolences to the Martinez family via Twitter.

The Revolution was built in 1976 and was the first coaster to ever feature a vertical loop. The ride is 12 stories high and reaches speeds of up to 55 mph.
