Zayn Malik claims he was 'being attacked' by Louis Tomlinson

Zayn Malik is defending himself after his Twitter argument with his former One Direction band-mate, Louis Tomlinson, on Wednesday.

Their argument seemed to stem from tension Tomlinson has with producer Naughty Boy, whom Malik is recording solo music with.

“Don't know why I'm being attacked for defending myself , people got it twisted!,” Malik wrote after the fight.

Tomlinson also tried to diffuse the situation when fans started jumping in to take sides, writing their support has been in a “different class.”

It really all started when Naughty Boy posted a photo of himself with Malik and wrote “Replace this” as the caption. It didn’t go over well with Tomlinson and the hashtag “TOMLINSONSLAYSAGAIN” then started when he ridiculed the producer.

He sarcastically wrote he “forgot you were such an in demand producer” and asked how it felt to be “riding on the back of someone else's career.”

Malik took Naughty Boy’s side, though, and accused Tomlinson of making “bitchy comments” about his life.
