Jenelle Evans turned herself into the Myrtle Beach Police Department after getting into a physical fight with her ex-fiance, Nathan Griffith, earlier this week.
She showed up the station with MTV’s cameras, since she’s currently filming Teen Mom 2, and was booked for domestic violence.
TMZ reported as of Thursday morning that she was in custody and waiting for her bail hearing.
After showing up to Griffith’s home early Wednesday morning, he filed a police report accusing her of physically abusing him and demanding he turn over their son, Kaiser. He claimed she reeked of alcohol.
“Jenelle turned herself in this afternoon, as planned. She looks forward to the truth coming out and moving on with her children,” her PR page tweeted Thursday.
She originally claimed he tried to run her over with his truck but she has deleted that statement from Twitter.
This was Evans’ 12th arrest. Her lawyer, Amy S. Lawrence, told Us Weeklyher client is having a difficult time with Griffith being in a new relationship.
“I think that in her heart she thought that maybe with them breaking up that they would get back together because they have a child together,” Lawrence said. “And I think she’s just very hurt that he has moved on.”
