Jaden Smith turned his unique style up a notch at his high school prom, wearing a white superhero costume instead of the standard tuxedo or suit.
He kept the costume at bay during pre-prom photos with his date, disguising it a bit with a suit jacket and tie. But when he got to the prom, he got rid of the appropriate prom-wear and went into full out superhero mode. He did keep the tie on, though.
Huffington Post notes the son of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith also wore a superhero costume to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s wedding, which was almost a year ago. Specifically, he was seen posing for photos in a Batman costume.
Smith and his sister, Willow Smith, are anything but conventional teenagers. Last year they did a bizarre Q&A for the New York Times’ T Magazine, where he said things like, “[O]n the level of being here on earth, if you are aware in a moment, one second can last a year. And if you are unaware, your whole childhood, your whole life can pass by in six seconds. But it’s also such a thing that you can get lost in.”
