Cheryl Lynn and Anita Baker get into (one-sided) Twitter feud

Singers Cheryl Lynn and Anita Baker apparently got into a Twitter feud on Wednesday, which caused some funny reactions from fans.

Lynn started it by accusing Baker of blocking her and asking her why several times, but then tried to end it by asking Baker to call her.

In the now-deleted tweets, Lynn wrote “@IAMANITABAKER Really girl, I thought we were cool. I guess I should’ve known something was up when you ignored me,” adding, “What did I ever do to you? Oh, I get it probably cuz I will sing you down on the stage is that it?”

She just couldn’t give it up when Baker wasn’t answering her, writing, “i’ve been nothing but sweet to you, and I get blocked. I thought we were good. Its crazy how you truly colors came out.”

Lynn got so frustrated that she threw in the towel. “We’re too OLD to be petty, just call me and we can settle this like adults. Ppl look up to us. We’re OG’s in this biz,” she wrote.

The Boom Box reports Baker hasn’t answered to any of the tweets and it seems they’ve worked it out because Lynn followed up with a tweet saying there’s “no beef between” them, she just “needed answers” from her.

Lynn is known for her duet with Lunder Vandross in the ‘80s, “If This World Were Mine” while Baker's hits include "Caught Up in the Rapture" and "Giving You the Best That I've Got."
