Charlie Sheen is admitting he handled his exit from Two and a Half Men poorly, revealing what he now sees in retrospect.
Sheen left during a tumultuous time in his life where he was abusing drugs and alcohol, and he knows he should've shown more remorse for his actions.
“I should have been a little more humble, more regretful, shouldn’t have attacked them like I did and I probably should have begged for my job back,” he told Extra.
“Beg is a color I don’t wear well,” he continued. “I probably should have requested my job back.” He went on to say, “I think that what went down was fixable, and I made it irreparable."
Sheen was fired from the show in 2011 after ranting about his boss, show creator Chuck Lorre. Ashton Kutcher went on to replace Sheen up until the show ended.
Sheen also talked about his follow-up show to Men, FX's Anger Management, calling it an “environment of compassion, of creativity of love” and more importantly, “Nobody yelled.”
