Around $200k worth of couture clothing stolen from Demi Moore's storage unit

Demi Moore’s Hollywood, Calif. storage unit was burglarized and around $200,000 worth of items were stolen.

One of the members of Moore’s staff stopped by the unit on Monday and made the discovery that several couture dresses were missing.

TMZ reports when an assistant showed up, they noticed right away that there was more open space in the unit than before. They believe a staffer at the storage unit facility is responsible since there’s no signs that it was broken into.

A source told People the storage facility she uses is Public Storage and that the lock was “fully intact."

The thief only stole high-end clothing and gowns and Moore is putting together an itemized list for police. However, it will be hard to track down the suspect since no one has been at the unit for the past six months and it could’ve taken place last year. Security surveillance doesn’t track back far enough to catch the thief in the act.

A rep for Public Storage would only say, “We do not comment on tenants' units for security purposes."
