Tara Reid's ultra slim body at beach photoshoot raises concerns

Tara Reid has jaws dropping in a beach photoshoot that shows off her very slim (some might say emaciated) figure.

In an impromptu street interview late last year, The New Jersey native told TMZ : “I eat, I eat, I eat, I eat,” and described herself as “small-boned.” IMDB says the 39-year-old suffered a bout of anorexia nervosa when she went through a crushing breakup with MTV personality Carson Daly. Some scenes in American Pie 2 ( Breakup occurred during filming.) were cited as examples of Reid’s malnourishment. Mayo Clinic explains that Anorexia isn't simply about food, but “an unhealthy way to try to cope with emotional problems.”

Then there’s Reid’s botched breast augmentation and liposuction from 2004. Reid says it left her stomach looking like a "ripply, bulging thing." The actress reported to People that she had become self-conscious about her stomach but was finally “moving on” in a 2008 interview. In a recent interview with TMZ last December, Reid unapologetically asserts, “I’m just what I am. So, get mad at me because I’m skinny? Great. Get mad at me. I am what I am.”
