Mother beats her son for taking part in Baltimore riots (Video)

A woman was not pleased when she found out her son participated in the Baltimore riots and was caught on video striking him for doing so.

WMAR reported that the woman got upset when she saw her son on TV throw rocks at police and for that she disciplined him. She was applauded by the Baltimore police force after the department sent out a series of tweets asking parents to find their children in the streets and bring them home.

In the video, the mother can be seen spinning her son around and slapping him as he tries to walk away but she chases him and continues her lecture about rioting.

Violence filled the streets of Baltimore on Monday as police were pelted with rocks, stores were looted and several buildings were set ablaze. As firefighters rushed to put one of those fires, rioters cut a hole in their hoses attached to a hydrant making the task even more difficult.

At least 15 police officers were injured in the clashes.

The National Guard has been deployed to the city.
