Kris Jenner is reportedly still not taking her ex-husband Bruce Jenner’s transition news well. Sources say she did know he identified as a woman years ago but thought it was something that would go away over time.
Following Jenner’s groundbreaking interview with Diane Sawyer, Bruce’s other two ex-wives gave statements of support. ABC said Kris had declined to comment for the Bruce Jenner – The Interview special, but she has denied anyone asked her to comment and supported him on Twitter instead.
"Before Kris and Bruce got married, Kris assured his ex-wives that she knew about 'the issue,' " a source now tells People. "She wanted them to know that she thought it was just a phase and that she could 'fix' him."
A source also told Us Magazine that the two families are divided. "It's still Camp Jenner and Camp Kardashian, in a major way," said the source.
In a now-deleted tweet, Bruce’s oldest son, Burt, 36, shed some light into that, seemingly calling out the Kardashian family for only voicing their support for publicity.
"Having a hard time not putting a few people on blast who were not supporters beforehand, but want to act like they were all along," he wrote.
Not only was I able to call him my husband for 25 years and father of my children, I am now able to call him my hero.
