The Giudice family has received more bad news when it comes to a pending legal case. Joe Giudice’s license has been suspended for two years for possessing a fraudulent driver’s license. He will also pay the maximum penalty of $10,000.
Joe’s wife, Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice, is in jail until next year, so he will have to make arrangements with family members or friends to drive their four daughters around.
He also got another 18 months of jail time tacked on to his 41-month sentence he will serve when Teresa gets released, for unlawful use of an ID and impersonation.
NJ.com reports New Jersey’s Passaic County Judge Adam E. Jacobs warned Giudice, "If you so much as back down your driveway ... that will constitute a violation of the conditions of your release, of your bail, and it will result in you being remanded immediately to Passaic County Jail.”
He did ask permission to drive his daughters to the end of the driveway to catch the bus to school in the morning but he was denied. “I can't have you driving a vehicle. Walk with them down the road,” the judge said, calling his driving record "truly mind-boggling."
Giudice has had his driver’s license suspended a whopping 39 times. This charge comes from the reality star using his brother’s ID to get a fake license during one of the times his own was suspended.
Joe faces deportation back to Italy upon his release from jail.
