Jeremy Renner appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and gushed about his daughter, Ava, saying his film career now takes a back seat to his relationship with her.
Renner, who just settled a contentious divorce and custody battle with his ex-wife, Sonni Pacheco, said his 2-year-old daughter is “No. 1 in my life.”
He joked that becoming a father "kind of screwed my career in a lot of ways because I don't really care about it [my career] so much, because I care about her [Ava] so much."
Renner continued to say he looks at his career now as doing “movies on the side” because “Daddy's my best role to date.”
The Avengers: Age of Ultron star was only married to Pacheco for 10 months. Their divorce proceedings got ugly was he claimed she extorted him to get a green card.
