Demi Lovato fires back at tattoo artist who criticized her for covering up tattoo, being drunk

Demi Lovato is responding to tattoo artist, Ashley McMullen, following her criticism of the “Really Don’t Care” singer, 22, covering up a tattoo she gave her when she was 18.

Lovato has made no secret of her wild days experimenting with drugs and alcohol, and their encounter happened to take place during that time in her life.

McMullen tattooed what was meant to look like a vagina on Lovato’s inner wrist while the singer was apparently “wasted” and she’s now offended for a couple of reasons.

She took to Instagram after Lovato got it covered up and criticized her for it, writing “you didn't even have the courtesy to offer me any money" for it.

She continued, “You pissed all over our toilet seat and you made a fool of yourself. What a shame that people look up to you. The tattoo you covered it with kinda sucks too,” continuing with the hashtags “#demilovato #scumbag #turd #claimstobesober #drankallthebeer #peepeetoiletseat #yousuck."

People reports Lovato responded on Thursday in a Twitter post that has since been deleted. She apologized for her behavior, calling herself a “drunken teenage girl.” She also apologized for “making fun of your work.”

She did fire back, though, writing, “I also wouldn't be admitting to the fact that you tattooed a very intoxicated 18 year old on a tour bus without the proper [judgment] that most legit tattoo artists have of saying 'Hmm... This underage kid is wasted, maybe I shouldn't permanently ink a hot pink kiss mark on this girl's wrist....? Oh well... F--- it, she's famous.' "
