Verne Troyer, best known for his role in Austin Powers, is assuring fans he’s in good health after suffering a seizure at a meet-and-greet with fans at a ComicCon event in Waco, Texas this past weekend. He has since returned to work.
He was rushed to the hospital at the time and took to Twitter shortly after to let fans know via a video message he was “doing fine.”
“I'm sure you guys have heard some news that I went to the hospital. But I just want to reassure you and let everyone know that I am doing fine,” he said in the video.
The event’s Twitter page sent out a message following the incident wishing him a “speedy recovery.”
His rep told The Hollywood Reporter he was only hospitalized as a precautionary measure, to run tests to make sure everything’s OK.
On Sunday, he was back to work and spoke at a panel at the event.
Thanks again guys! See you tomorrow at @thehotcon pic.twitter.com/Xj12MgZEkq
