Ryan Reynolds has finally officially confirmed his daughter with wife Blake Lively’s name, although we did already know it.
Reynolds told Willie Geist on the Today Show while promoting his film Woman in Gold that her name is James, as we reported last month.
While he’s joked in the past that they named her Excalibur Anaconda Reynolds, when Geist asked about it he said it’s actually “Butternut Summersquash.”
Turning serious, he revealed "It's James. Everyone knows."
He went on to say he didn’t want to be the first to say it for fear of James turning into a teenager and getting mad at him for it.
"I didn't want to be the first guy screaming it out to the media. Because as we know, little girls turn into teenage girls and little teenage girls sometimes scan through the archives and go, 'Why did you do that?'" he said.
