Nick Cannon has filed a lawsuit against his estranged wife, Mariah Carey, and their business manager Michael Kane for selling the Los Angeles home they used to share without his consent.

The Bel-Air, Calif. home sold for $9 million after they bought it for $6.975 in 2009. It’s 11,750 square feet and sits on three acres. The former couple put the home on the market for almost $13 million before their split.

Cannon says in the lawsuit that he didn’t find out about the sale of the house until everything was completed, saying Kane only dealt with Carey and her team.

Kane has since told TMZ the lawsuit is "clearly a desperate act from a sadly desperate man."

Cannon wants the funds from the sale of the home frozen by the bank until they reach an agreement on how it will be dispersed between the exes.

Despite being kept in the dark about the dealings of the sale, Kane says Cannon suing him is “frivolous.”

Cannon filed for divorce from Carey in December after they separated last year.
