Move over Cara Delevingne and Katy Perry, that jumpsuit with pizzas all over it was so last year. Now, McDonald’s has decided to get in on the fashion game and released its lifestyle collection of pieces with a burger print all over them.
The New York Daily News reported that McDonald’s started its own apparel and accessory collection and is selling everything from clothing to wallpaper to bed sheets; all complete with a Big Mac print. Currently, the line is only available in Sweden where it debuted on Tuesday.
"Finally the hamburger of hamburgers can keep you warm at night," read a listing for $47 linens.
ADWEEK noted that the launching of the line was all part of McDonald’s imlovinit24 campaign, which put out unique marketing campaigns in 24 cities for 24 hours. They included a massive Big Mac jigsaw puzzle in Madrid, Spain; a Joy Maze in Bucharest, Romania; a McOrchestra in Vienna; and a Ne-Yo concert in Los Angeles.
It will be interesting to see if the Big Mac collection makes its way to the U.S. anytime soon. I mean if models and one of America’s biggest pop stars wear onesies with pepperoni pizzas all over them can a sweatshirt covered with burger prints be that far behind?
