Madonna has weighed in on the controversial comments from Domenico Dolce of Dolce and Gabbana, which caused Elton John to call for a boycott on the fashion house.
Dolce defended his comments earlier this week, which included him telling an Italian magazine that children born via IVF or other alternative methods of birth are “synthetic.”
On Wednesday, Madonna shared a shot from her 2010 shoot for Dolce and Gabbana and advised them to “think before you speak.”
“All babies contain a soul however they come to this earth and their families. There is nothing synthetic about a soul!!” she wrote. “So how can we dismiss IVF and surrogacy? Every soul comes to us to teach us a lesson. God has his hand in everything even technology! We are arrogant to think Man does anything on his own.”

Madonna and John have had a long-withstanding feud but clearly on this topic, they see eye to eye. They have since made up.
Dolce has since responded to the #BoycottDolceandGabbana backlash, saying, "I'm Sicilian and I grew up in a traditional family, made up of a mother, a father and children,” adding, “This is the reality in which I grew up, but it does not imply that I don't understand different ones.”
John has two children with his husband, David Furnish, who were born via surrogate.
