Jenny McCarthy predicts 'The View' will last one more season, will 'go down' just like the Titanic

Jenny McCarthy is likening ABC’s The View, which she left in 2014 after just one season, to the Titanic.

McCarthy appeared on Howard Stern’s SiriusXM radio show with her husband, New Kids on the Block’s Donnie Wahlberg, on Monday and they spoke about her brief time on the show.

"They might try one more year and then I think the Titanic might go down,” she said, Us Weekly reports.

At the time McCarthy left, Sherri Shepherd also left after seven years on the show. Since then, Rosie O’Donnell was re-hired then left for the second time. They can't seem to find a panel that gels.

Wahlberg told Stern that producers have asked McCarthy to come back, though she won’t admit it publicly. "She's very gracious about The View, and I will say, I told her the day that she left, I said, 'They're gonna ask you back within six months.’” And she won't say it, but they did. Not officially, but they did."

McCarthy added that she’s “never been more happy” in a job than on her own SiriusXM show Dirty, Sexy, Funny, saying she just wants the freedom to be herself.

“I couldn't be me!” she said of her time on The View, telling Stern, “You know — you called it from the start. I couldn't be myself."
