Britney Spears finally the 'happiest' she's ever been, in a 'real good place'

It’s been a rocky road for Britney Spears, who suffered a public meltdown when her marriage to Kevin Federline fell apart and years of being controlled by managers and music executives came to a screeching halt. But the Louisiana-born singer says she’s finally reached a happy place in her life.

Spears has been dating producer Charlie Ebersol for a few months now and because of her healthy relationship and bond with her sons; Sean Preston, 9, and Jayden James, 8, "I'm the happiest I've ever been."

In People’s cover story, Spears gushed about being in a “real good place” finally.

While she insisted, “My kids come first in my life—bottom line," she also believes in the “fairy tale” of love and would be open to marrying again.

“Love is a hard one. I don't really understand love as far as relationships. With my kids it's just unconditional, and that's hard to find,” she said, but she seems well on her way to unconditional love with Ebersol.

"He's refreshing to be around and really light-hearted,” she said.

She described her sons with ex-husband Kevin Federline, saying “Preston is very opinionated, very expressive, and if he doesn’t like something, he’s going to tell you,” adding he has a “huge heart, he’s a good kid and he has manners.”

As for Jayden, he’s “sweet, very soft-spoken, kinda funny. He’s adorable — a momma’s boy.”
