A San Diego sports anchor was found shot outside of his home on Tuesday and authorities are now trying to determine what took place that led to the shooting.
ABC News noted that San Diego Police Department spokesman Officer Mike Tortorella said that KFMB-TV sports anchor Kyle Kraska was found shot and wounded in his driveway around 3 p.m.
Though it is unclear at this time what exactly sparked the shooting, police said shots were fired into the back window of his Mercedes.
USA Today reported that Kraska was rushed to a hospital suffering from gunshots wounds to his head and stomach. He underwent surgery and is said to have come out in good condition.
The hashtag #PrayforKyle began trending on Twitter Tuesday and fellow reporter Shannon Hardy tweeted about the outpouring of support.

Just before 10 p.m., law enforcement officers, including a SWAT team, surrounded the home of suspect Mike Montana, 54, who surrendered and was apprehended after a brief standoff.
Kraska has been an anchor with the CBS-affiliate for more than 10 years.
