Rihanna actually swam with sharks for Harper's Bazaar March cover shoot

Rihanna appears on the March 2015 issue of Harper’s Bazaar, for which she actually swam with sharks during the photoshoot.

For any skeptics, Harper’s Bazaar posted a behind-the-scenes video of the “FourFiveSeconds” singer in a one-piece swimsuit swimming amongst the sometimes deadly animals.

This is the first time she has posed for the U.S. version of Harper’s Bazaar and it’s surely a memorable shoot. She did graced the cover of Harper’s Bazaar’s sister publication in Arabia last year.

Rihanna posted it to Twitter, writing “Check what happens when a badgal and fashion photographer/certified diver Norman Jean Roy get together!” later calling it “such a thrilling shoot!!”

Huffington Post reports the jumpsuit she wears on the cover was designed just for her by Balmain creative director Olivier Rousteing.

As we previously reported, Rihanna will perform with her “FourFiveSeconds” collaborators Kanye West and Paul McCartney at the Grammys on Sunday.
