Get ready human beings! Community is coming back and we finally know when.
During the Television Critics Association press tour in Pasadena, Yahoo announced that the series will be back on March 17. A video featuring members of the cast was shown, including Joel McHale, Alison Brie and Danny Pudi. Show creator Dan Harmon also makes an appearance.
Community was saved by Yahoo in July and will be shown exclusively on the company’s Yahoo Screen site. While the cast won’t include Yvette Nicole Brown, Jonathan Banks, Chevy Chase or Donald Glover, Paget Brewster and Keith David are going to make appearances.
In addition to Brie, McHale and Pudi, Ken Jeong and Gillian Jacobs are returning, so the Greendale study group will be a bit smaller. Jim Rash is also returning to play Dean Pelton.

Community was cancelled by NBC after a poorly-rated fifth season that did see the return of Harmon as showrunner and the departure of Glover halfway through. Sony Pictures TV did shop it around to online sites and it landed at Yahoo, which certainly surprised many.
We may yet just see #sixseasonsandamovie become a reality.
