Teresa Giudice will get out of jail earlier than expected but not by much. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star is expected to serve 13 months instead of 15 months.
Giudice began her sentence at the Danbury Federal Correction Institute in Danbury, Connecticut early Monday morning.
According to the Bureau of Prisons website's "inmate locator,” her release date is listed as Feb. 5, 2016.
Giudice’s lawyer, James J. Leonard Jr, dropped her off and was the last to speak with her before she surrendered. He told NJ Advanced Media “She was ready. Teresa is a very strong woman, she won't have any problems in there."
Her stay also reportedly won’t be as bad as she thinks as far as food is concerned, as she can buy items such as hummus and Oreos and macaroons at the commissary.
When Giudice completes her sentence, her husband will serve his 41-month sentence. Upon completion, he could be deported back to Italy.
