Snoop Dogg is now a first-time grandfather after his son, Cordé Broadus, and girlfriend Jessica Kyzer welcomed a baby boy named Zion.
The rapper reposted an Instagram video of the newborn that Corde, 20, originally posted.
“Proud grandad. My son spank n grandson Zion ! Jah bless,” he wrote.
Snoop also posted a photo of his wife, Shante Broadus, whom he also shares Cordell, 17, and Cori, 15, with. “Proud grandma,” he wrote as the caption.
E! Online reports baby Zion, a name that goes along with the Rastafarian theme of Snoop’s former stage name Snoop Lion, was born early. The couple’s registry stated Kyzer’s due date wasn’t until Jan. 23.
Zion is a popular name in Hollywood, with NBA star Dwyane Wade and singer Lauryn Hill also choosing the name for their kids.
