Despite their lives basically being reality television gold, LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian’s Vh1 reality show LeAnn & Eddie has been canceled after just one season.
The couple married in 2011 after having an affair on their then-spouses Dean Sheremet and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville. With the show, the couple was hoping to dispel any misconceptions about their relationship.
Their lives have played out in the tabloids since the affair, with Rimes often fighting with Glanville on social media.
Viewers just didn’t take to it the way the couple had hoped.
People has confirmed the show hasn’t been picked up for a second season. The first season ran for eight episodes.
Glanville was seen watching the show with friends during an episode of the current season of Real Housewives.
In July, Rimes told People, “The biggest global misconception would be that we're not two people who are really in love with each other, that there are ulterior motives to our relationship. But people just don't get it. Hopefully people will get a chance to see how we just click."
