President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama sat down to reveal some of their favorites from this past year as we look ahead to 2015, and the president revealed his favorite movie was Boyhood.
In a joint interview with People the president also discussed his favorite viral videos of the year and what he's currently reading.
Considering they have teenage daughters, President Obama is likely introduced to viral videos he normally wouldn’t otherwise see.
"My favorite of all time, I think, was BatDad," he laughed. "Whoever BatDad is out there, man, I was into your thing."
However, he was also amused by Michelle’s turnip viral video. The video saw the First Lady making a play on words to the hit song “Turn Down For What" and dancing along with a turnip, asking "Turnip, for what?"
"Clearly, the most astonishing Vine this year was Michelle and the turnip," he said. "I mean, let's face it – who else can make a turnip into a star but Michelle Obama?"
The book he’s reading right now, he said, is Redeployment, by Phil Klay, which he called “really powerful.”
"He's an Iraq War veteran who's written a series of short stories,” he said.
