Carrie Underwood is pregnant with her first child – a boy - with husband Mike Fisher and reveals she feels pressure to deliver the best singing performance possible because he’s always listening.
Underwood appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday night and laughed that her unborn baby doesn’t really “have a choice” when it comes to hearing her sing.
"I do feel like I have to sing good all the time," she admitted, Cambio reports. "Like, if I'm just in my car driving, I feel like I have to make it good because he's listening. He's always in there."
The American Idol winner went on to say that she’s not the only one at home who sings to the baby, Comrie also attempts to serenade him.
However, the only song he knows lyrics to is “Whoomp! (There It Is).”
Underwood also stopped by Today that same morning, telling Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb that she starts “laughing” when she sees her changing body in the mirror.
"My body's definitely not mine right now!" she said.
