Cake Boss star Buddy Valastro has plead guilty to driving while impaired by alcohol on Monday in a New York City courtroom.

He will have his license suspended for 90 days and have to pay a $300 fine. He will also need to take classes for a drunk driving program.

TMZ reports he wasn’t due in court until February but he decided to get it all taken care of earlier than he was required to.

He took to Twitter to explain he wanted to “make this right” and he apologized for his actions the day of his arrest last month.

He started off writing, “I want to thank everyone for their support. I also want to apologize to everyone.”

Valastro continued, “I pled guilty today because I wanted to make this right. I learned an important lesson that if you have even one drink you shouldn't drive. I thought I was fine to drive, but I wasn't. I put people in danger. I am very disappointed in myself.”

He ended with, “I'll never get behind the wheel of a car again, even after one sip. My sincerest apologies to my family, friends and fans.”

As we previously reported, the Carlos bakery owner was pulled over while driving a yellow 2014 Corvette. He failed a breathalyzer test after he was seen swerving and not steady while trying to get out of his car.
