Angelina Jolie avoided injuries from a car crash on Sunday, when the car she was riding in was in a car accident in Beverly Hills, Calif.
The Oscar winner and mother of six was on her way home from a screening of her film Unbroken at the Writers' Guild Theater when it happened.
Witnesses told x17online that the SUV she was in skidded on the wet road. The car slid so much that when it crashed into a curb, two of its tires exploded. The driver was able to maintain control of the vehicle.
“The car slammed into the curb at a significant speed,” said the witness. “Angelina must have wondered if they hit another car. It was pretty bad -- the tire exploded and it's amazing nothing worse happened to the car. I wouldn't be surprised if she has whiplash."
MailOnline reports after the crash, which took place around 6:45pm, another driver from he car service came and picked her up and drove her safely home.
