Stephen Collins has already lost several jobs and now he’s without a talent agency.
The former 7th Heaven actor, who is now facing child molestation claims, was dropped by the Agency for the Performing Arts, based in Beverly Hills, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed. His lead agent, Jeff Witjas, dropped him Friday afternoon.
Collins has been in the news constantly since Monday, when a 2012 therapy session recording in which he allegedly admitted to sexually molesting two young girls leaked on TMZ. The recording was made secretly by his estranged wife Faye Grant, who is in the middle of a divorce from Collins. Although Grant has denied releasing the tape herself, in an email obtained by TMZ, Grant had expressed concerns over possible incestuous thoughts.
Gawker, TMZ and other outlets have obtained an email Grant sent to a woman who claimed she was molested by Collins when she was only a child. In this one, Grant writes that their 12-year-old babysitter was also a victim of abuse. Grant also alleges that the actor was diagnosed with Narcissistic Personality Disorder.
The woman who received this letter was a relative of Marjorie Weinman, Collins’ first wife, the Daily News reported. This victim had contacted Grant in 2000, but Grant didn’t reach out to her until 2011, TMZ noted.
It has also been discovered that collins published two erotic novels, including one after 7th Heaven started.
Collins has already been fired from Ted 2 and dropped from ABC’s Scandal.
