Renee Zellweger’s first appearance since making headlines for her drastically different appearance is making just as many headlines as when she stepped out at the Elle Women in Hollywood Awards last week.
Zellweger looked much different than she normally does at the event, some would say she was unrecognizable.
However, as Us Weekly reported, she was all smiles while out in Mississippi with her boyfriend, Doyle Bramhall II, on Monday.
The Oscar winner, 45, is in town to film her movie Same Kind of Different As Me and sported a casual look with workout pants and pink running shoes.
Zellweger responded to the hoopla surrounding her appearance really quickly, telling People, “I'm glad folks think I look different! I'm living a different, happy, more fulfilling life, and I'm thrilled that perhaps it shows.”
She certainly has a great attitude about it, adding, "Perhaps I look different. Who doesn't as they get older?! Ha. But I am different. I'm happy."
