Freddie Prinze Jr. has revealed he underwent spinal surgery on Nov. 20 and has since kept his fans in the loop regarding his progress on Twitter.
The ‘90s heartthrob, who is married to Sarah Michelle Gellar, tweeted he’s had to learn to walk again following the surgery.
He hasn’t revealed the reason he needed the surgery, but urged fans to get information directly from him instead of the media.
“Guys Im totally fine. Recovering great. No need to get ur info from entertainment 'news' sources who have no clue. Trust your homie,” he wrote, later following up with, “Private medical info amigos. Lets say i had some disc issues that have been resolved. 'Nuff said friends.”
Prinze Jr. also shared some photos of himself recovering.
Daily News reports he posted before and after pictures, with the after picture showing he has to wear a neck brace and also a bandage on his neck. He’s continuing to stay positive, however, using the hashtag “#KeepItPlayful.”
