An American Horror Story: Freak Show script that contains a key scene in the FX series has been stolen from the hit show’s set.
The thief stole the script last week on the New Orleans set and has reportedly been shopping it around to media outlets.
According to TMZ, only one page of the script was stolen but it contained a pivotal scene in the show that if leaked, could ruin everything.
"The theft and unauthorized distribution of our scripts is a very serious matter and we will take all appropriate steps necessary to vigorously protect our intellectual property,” 20th Century Fox said in a statement.
The stolen page reveals details on how Pepper wound up in an institution on American Horror Story: Asylum, which reveals how the two seasons are connected, MTV News reports.
Back in June, Paulson dished details after reading the script of the newest season in the AHS series, saying it’s “a kind of beautiful hybrid between Coven and Asylum.”
