Amanda Bynes was put on involuntary psychiatric hold at a Pasadena hospital when she arrived in Los Angeles October 10.

TMZ reports that Amanda arrived at LAX, and thought that a car service would be taking her to The London Hotel to meet her parents and their attorney. But the car never went to the hotel, and instead Bynes was taken to a hospital in Pasadena for psychiatric hold- talk about a wild start to Bynes' weekend!
Bynes' parents actually made plans with the car service to transport Amanda to the hospital. TMZ reports that when she got to the car, her parents' attorney, Tamar Arminak, was waiting for her with doctors. The doctors placed her on a 5150 psychiatric hold, which allows doctors to involuntarily hold a person for psychiatric evaluation.
Bynes will be held for 72 hours, and can be extended for up to two weeks.
It was previously reported that Amanda had taken to her Twitter to accuse her father of sexually abusing her. She later retracted those accusations, saying, "My dad never did any of those things The microchip in my brain made me say those things but he's the one that ordered them to microchip me."
Amanda Bynes' conservatorship ended early in September, and since then, she's been no stranger to the media. She was arrested at the end of September and charged with driving under the influence of what was later revealed to Adderall. She's also made headlines for attempting to shoplift at two stores, for being kicked out of FIDM for cheating and bizarre behavior, and for reportedly being engaged to her 19-year-old boyfriend.
While she's on psychiatric hold, there will be an attempt to give her another conservatorship, TMZ reports.
