Since being released from an involuntary psychiatric hold at a Pasadena medical facility, Amanda Bynes has continued her bizarre behavior. Her latest is falling asleep on the couch in a Los Angeles mall on Thursday.
Bynes is homeless right now, claiming her parents won’t give her access to enough money to get a place of her own under the conservatorship rules. She’s been staying with friends but complains that she can’t even afford a hotel room.
During a trip to the Beverly Center, she decided to take a nap on the couch, TMZ reports.
She’s been seen wandering around West Hollywood and has certainly been active on Twitter. She even explained her nap at the mall, writing, “I was not given money for a hotel so i have been staying with friends and i didn't get enough sleep last night so I fell asleep on a couch @ the beverly center and a paparazzi snuck in and took pictures of me FYI ! I hate my parents for still not giving me money for a hotel.”
As we previously reported, her parents, Lynn and Rick Bynes, are planning on transferring the conservatorship control to a professional who’s been equipped to deal with their daughter’s mental illness. They plan to move to Texas from their home in California.
