One of the best ways to relax during the weekend is binge watching your favorite show on Netflix, but people that want to binge watch in high definition will have to pay the price.
Netflix subscribers will have to pay $11.99 a month in order to view shows in the Ultra HD format, up from $8.99 a month. People who purchase the $11.99 a month plan will also be able to stream their favorite shows on four different screens which is a great solution for customers that share their account with family members and friends.
“We decided to move 4K UHD video into our four-stream plan for new members who sign up and care about the highest-quality video Netflix offers," a Netflix spokesperson told Variety.
Not all content on Netflix is capable of being watched in Ultra HD, but some shows that are include Breaking Bad and House of Cards.
With more than 50 million subscribers and its many movie deals in the works, Netflix will be taking over living rooms for years to come.
