Not only will they be embarking on a 3-city summer tour, Rihanna and Eminem will also be joining forces to perform at the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday.
The duo will perform their hit “Monster” at the event at the Nokia Theatre at L.A. Live. The MTV Movie Awards are hosted by Conan O’Brien.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, both Rihanna and Eminem have performed at the show in previous years, just not together. Eminem took the stage solo in 2009 and Rihanna performed with Jay Z two years before.
Other performers that were previously announced include Goulding and Zedd, who will be performing songs that are featured on the Divergent soundtrack.
As we also previously reported, Mark Wahlberg will be receiving the Generation Award. Johnny Depp, Reese Witherspoon, Tom Cruise, Jim Carrey and Mike Myers are past recipients of the coveted award.
Rihanna and Eminem’s The Monster Tour will kick off in Pasadena on Aug. 7.
