A new report suggests Lindsay Lohan’s career and sobriety aren’t her only obstacles right now – she’s also in financial trouble. While shopping in New York City over the weekend, two of her credit cards were reportedly declined.
The Lindsay star was shopping in the Soho neighborhood of New York on Sunday, at Rag & Bone on Mercer Street when her $300 purchase was declined twice.
“Lindsay was trying to buy something for around $300 but her credit cards were declined. She looked really embarrassed and tried to negotiate before her friend finally stepped in and paid,” a source told Page Six.
She is reportedly in such dire financial trouble that in order to film her OWN docu-series in New York City, the network had to cover her rent.
A rep for the actress, however, has denied the validity of the story, saying it’s “completely false.”
Entertainmentwise notes also over the weekend, Lohan did a sexy photoshoot with famed photographer Terry Richardson.
