The royal family continue their trip in Wellington, New Zealand, but the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge left Prince George behind to attend a state reception at Government House on Wednesday night.
They ended their day, which they spent at Blenheim honoring fallen soldiers from World War I and later at the Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre, by presenting a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Nick Cuthell, a Wellington artist.
According to E! Online, Prince William said in his speech, "On this visit, I have no doubt that it will be Catherine—and not just me—who falls for New Zealand.”
He also joked about their 8-month-old son, saying "I swear I heard him doing the haka this morning," which is a traditional Maori dance.
ABC News notes Prince George had a play date with a bevy of other babies in New Zealand on Wednesday. The day was a modernized version of the royal crawl over thirty years ago when Prince William visited New Zealand as a baby.
