A couple residing in Montana is being accused of allowing their 2-year-old son smoke marijuana multiple times. Lucas Keith Wilson and Camilla Rose Samuel allegedly let him smoke marijuana five times since August.
Montana’s Bozeman Daily Chronicle reports these claims first came to light by Samuels’ mother, who told authorities she found a video of the child with a pipe up to his mouth on her daughter’s cell phone.
Both Wilson and Samuel admitted to the crime, with Wilson justifying it by saying smoking marijuana made their son more mellow. On Feb. 27, they were charged with felony and misdemeanor counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
While Wilson has a warrant out for his arrest for $50,000, Samuels does not, The AP reports.
When Samuels became pregnant again, she was drinking and smoking marijuana and methamphetamine. When she tested positive for both drugs in her second trimester, they were evicted from their trailer. Their second child tested positive for marijuana and meth when he was born.
