On Monday’s episode of NBC’s The Voice, the camera panned to mentor Cee Lo Green, who was blowing smoke out of nose.
As Blake Shelton finished his critique of Team Adam contestant Grey’s performance of “Still Into You,” Green was caught in the act. However, it’s now being debated what exactly he was smoking.
MTV News notes he was acting more out-there than usual that night when he at one point referred to co-mentor Christina Aguilera as “Christene” and told contestant Nic Hawk "Your ability is an irony that is undeniable.”
He even strayed from critiquing another singer to boast about how The Voice and its mentors were “the best” on television right now. It could’ve been an electronic cigarette, but request for comment hasn’t been answered.
It seems NBC has edited out Green’s smoking, but there were times during Monday’s live episode where he was seen holding a smoking object although it wasn’t clear what it was.
