This Tuesday was mostly the same story it has been all season for the networks, with NBC taking the key 18-49 demographic, while CBS draws the most viewers. That status quo continued, even though The Voice saw a season low.
Starting over at CBS, the home of NCIS averaged 15.1 million viewers, but its 2.4 18-49 rating was behind NBC, notes HitFix. NCIS drew 18.98 million viewers and a 2.9 18-49 rating, while NCIS: LA had 14.65 million viewers and a 2.4 rating. Person of Interest finished CBS’ sweep in viewers with 11.71 million, but it only had a 1.9 18-49 rating.
NBC averaged a 2.9 18-49 rating, but its 9.7 million viewers put it behind CBS in that regard. The Biggest Loser was actually up to 6.8 million viewers and a 2.1 18-49 rating, reports TheWrap. However, The Voice reached a Tuesday season low with 11.2 million viewers and a 3.3 18-49 rating.
ABC had just 4.9 million viewers and a 1.5 18-49 rating. Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. was back after a week off, earning 7 million viewers and a 2.5 18-49 rating, another marginal drop. The Goldbergs hit a new low with a 1.5 18-49 rating, even after it got a full season, and Trophy Wife drew a 1.2. A Robin Roberts CMAs special had 3.4 million viewers and a 0.7 key demo rating.
Fox had 3.58 million viewers, although its 1.6 18-49 rating did beat ABC. Dads had a 1.4 18-49 rating, while Brooklyn Nine-Nine scored a 1.6. New Girl rebounded with a 2.0, notes Deadline and The Mindy Project was up as well with a 1.5.
Both The Originals and Supernatural on the CW scored just over 2 million viewers and a 0.9 18-49 rating.
