CBS' Criminal Minds keeps improving in the ratings after a streak of low numbers, meanwhile ABC's Modern Family suffered a huge decline in the 18-49 demographic.
CBS easily won the night in both viewership and in the younger demographic, HitFix reports. The network averaged 11.14 million viewers and a 2.4 in the demo rating. Survivor: Blood vs. Water was down slightly to a 2.4 in the demo, but went over 10 million viewers for the first time in awhile. Criminal Minds increased to a 2.8 rating for the night. CSI was up to a 2.1 in the demo.
ABC came second, but suffered drops in its comedies for the evening. The network averaged 6.9 million viewers and a 2.0 rating. The Middle was down to a 2.2 and Back in the Game fell to a 1.6. Modern Family fell to a 3.3 in the demo, which is a season low. Super Fun Night was also down to a 1.9. Though comedies fell, hour-long drama Nashville upped its numbers slightly to a 1.6 rating.
Fox trailed behind with a 1.6 demo rating and an average of 5.5 million viewers as the only program was a two hour X Factor, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
NBC came a close fourth with 5.3 million viewers and a demo rating of 1.3. Revolution slipped to a 1.4, while both Law & Order: SVU and Dateline were steady at 1.6 and 1.1, respectively.
Arrow was unable to keep up slight growth and dropped to a 0.9 for the CW. The network averaged a 0.8 in the demo and 2.1 million viewers. The Tomorrow People was able to stay consistent at a 0.6 demo rating.
