Miley Cyrus has repeatedly said she’s happier now than she’s ever been, and now her fiancé Liam Hemsworth is saying a similar statement. He even mentions how Jennifer Lawrence has helped him find happiness.

Hemsworth, who called off his engagement with the Bangerz singer in September, said that after five years of living in Hollywood he’s finally found his place.

"Over the last five years I've learned so much," he said, The AP reports. "The first few years in LA were really tough and scary, but I had to figure things out for myself."

Hemsworth, 23, moved to Hollywood at age 18 from Australia to pursue his dream of acting. He starred with Cyrus in 2010’s The Last Song and he’s since taken on a huge part in The Hunger Games films.

"I'm more comfortable in my own skin than I've ever been in my whole life," he said.

He went on to say about the tabloid attention that followed him when he was with Cyrus "What I always keep in mind is that I know what the truth is and that's all that matters," adding, "I know I'm a good person and these days I feel like I'm more centered and grounded than I've ever been."

Hemsworth even gave his co-star, Jennifer Lawrence, a compliment saying for a while he wouldn’t just live in the moment, but “being around someone like Jen, who is so honest and laughs all day long, I am forced to be in the right now. I'm much happier."
