Gwyneth Paltrow feels so strongly about her kids with husband Chris Martin; Apple, 9, and Moses, 7, speaking Spanish that she urges them to speak the language exclusively at certain times.
The actress took her kids to the wedding of friend Cameron Diaz’s assistant, Jesse Lutz, in Beverly Hills and urged them to speak Spanish the entire time.
"Gwyneth reminded them through the party," a source told Us Weekly. "At one point, Apple came to her table and asked, in Spanish, if she could sit on her lap!"
Paltrow, who is criticized in the press constantly, recently opened up to Red magazine about her parenting philosophies and her view of critics.
"It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks," she said. "It matters what you think of yourself. And what your children think … I'd say, do what is right for you and don't give a s--t what anyone else thinks."
Paltrow is the center of a Vanity Fair piece, which will still run despite the actress urging friends not to participate.
