Blake Shelton and Adam Levine are known for their playful relationship on NBC’s The Voice, so it came as no surprise that the country singer took the opportunity to tease Levine on his new title of People’s Sexiest Man Alive.
Shelton appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Wednesday and gave the late night host an issue of the magazine with a note that read "Jay, Don't you think Blake should have won this? Love, Adam,” E! Online reports.
Leno told Miranda Lambert’s husband he didn’t believe him, and he then asked, "Like when you sit next to [Adam], do you find yourself getting aroused?"
Shelton laughed, "He's got feminine qualities about him. Absolutely!"
Meanwhile, Levine appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live that same night and gave a fake acceptance speech, thanking his parents for giving him the good looks and past title holders, or his “predecessors,” as he referred to them.
“Ryan Gosling, thank you for turning this down constantly,” he also joked, Daily News reports. "That really helped my campaign.”
