Rebel Wilson's Super Fun Night has started off strong in ratings, while Ironside saw weak numbers.
ABC's new comedy's season premiere was watched by 8.2 million viewers, with a rating of 3.2 in the 18-49 demographic, Los Angeles Times reports.
Super Fun Night was helped by its lead-in, Modern Family, which had 10.9 million viewers and a 4.2 rating. The popular show managed to stay strong after its season premiere last week. The rest of the network's shows were down. Back in the Game dropped 18 percent to a 1.8 in the demo. The Middle was down to a 2.2 and Nashville dropped to a 1.9.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, ABC and CBS tied Wednesday in the key demo with a 2.5 average rating.
CBS, however, averaged more viewers with 10.2 million for the night compared to 7.6 from ABC. Survivor was up slightly in the ratings with a 2.6. Criminal Minds dropped slightly to a 2.7 and CSI improved to a 2.1.
Fox averaged 7.6 million viewers for the night with The X Factor. The music competition saw a 2.4 rating from the 18-49 demo for the two hour show.
NBC brought up the rear in ratings among the big networks, averaging 6.3 million viewers. Its new show Ironside only premiered to a 1.4 in the demo. Revolution was down to a 1.5 and Law & Order: SVU was down slightly from last week to a 2.0.
