Bob Barker is returning to The Price Is Right in December in a series of shows that will honor his 90th birthday although he will only appear in one episode.
Barker will return to the CBS show that made him a household name from Dec. 9 to Dec. 13 and he will appear in a pre-taped episode, which was already filmed, on Dec. 12.
According to USA Today, every day will have opportunities for pet adoptions, which is a cause that the former game show host holds a special place in his heart for. Barker would end the show by saying, "Help control the pet population. Have you pet spayed or neutered." He will present a showcase on the Thursday that his episode airs, which is his actual birthday.
LA Times notes Barker hosted the longest-running show in history for 35 years before Drew Carey took it over in 2007.
The show currently airs each weekday at 11am.
