Simon Cowell might be expecting a baby with Lauren Silverman, but he’s been seen with his ex-fiancé Mezhgan Hussainy a few times this week.
The former couple were photographed before the X Factor creator’s appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, as well as his Ellen DeGeneres Show appearance. They were also seen arriving at the studio they shoot his show in, which he will co-judge with Demi Lovato, Paulina Rubio and Kelly Rowland this season, on Monday.
Daily Mail notes Cowell is notorious for keeping close relationships with exes, so it doesn’t necessarily mean they’re getting back together in any way.
Meanwhile, while speaking to DeGeneres, Cowell opened up about receiving news he’s going to be a father.
“That was a bit of a shocker. When you first get the call, it's like, OK, put the phone down, gulp. And then I got used to the idea,” he said, adding of Silverman being married to his friend, “It was kind of uncomfortable, you know, the situation. But these things happen and everything is kind of calm now and I'm happy.”
The Mirror reports while Cowell was being interviewed by another ex, Extra’s Terri Seymour, he said “It really is a miracle. The baby was kind of unexpected. I hadn’t planned for that.
“Maybe I will take him or her go-karting. I’m good with kids, and I like kids,” he also said. “Babies, I have a little problem with because I never know how to hold them. But I like the idea of having a little buddy.”
X Factor's third season will premiere on Wednesday.
